Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used and evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. CBT empowers clients to develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving, leading to improved emotional regulation and coping skills. It is one of Jeannette’s preferred approaches for both adults and children.
Counseling can be beneficial if you are:
Struggling with persistent feelings of anxiety, depression, or stress
Experiencing difficulty managing emotions or behavioral issues
Facing significant life transitions or relationship challenges
Dealing with grief, loss, or unresolved trauma
Seeking personal growth, clarity, or emotional support
Even if you're unsure, it's okay to reach out for an initial consultation to explore whether counseling might be right for you.
The number of sessions varies depending on the individual's goals and the nature of the challenges being addressed. Some clients find significant improvement after just a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing support over a longer period. Jeannette will work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your unique needs.
